CURRIED BROCCOLI MUSHROOM SOUP 
6 slices bacon, diced
2 oz. mushrooms, sliced
1 med. onion, chopped
3 1/2 c. chopped broccoli
2 c. chicken broth
1 can condensed mushroom soup
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1 c. half and half cream

Brown bacon, pour off fat except for 2 teaspoons. Cook mushrooms and onions in the 2 teaspoons bacon fat, until tender. Add everything but the half and half. Bring to a boil, then simmer 6 to 8 minutes. Reduce to low and add half and half slowly. Heat through and serve.
