OLD-FASHIONED TEA COOKIES 
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
3 tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. unbleached flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. each salt and cinnamon

Cream butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Chill dough for easier handling.

Roll dough out about 1/4 inch thick. Cut with a big cookie cutter and put on ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly browned. Makes about 3 dozen.
