LUBEE (SYRIA) 
1 1/2 lb. lamb, cut into chunks
Butter
1 onion, diced
2 lb. fresh green beans cut in halves
1 tbsp. salt
1 sm. can tomato sauce
Pepper
Allspice

Brown meat lightly in butter and add onion simmer. Add green beans and salt. Cover steam over low heat for 45 minutes and add tomato sauce. Add enough water to cover green beans. Sprinkle pepper and allspice to taste. Cook for 15 minutes or until tender. Serve with rice. 6 servings.
