MARTINY CHIP DIP | |
This family recipe is a tradition for any party in which I and my siblings gather. We've never seen it anywhere else! It is simple to make, and has a slight sweetness that blends well with the onion. 2 (8 oz. ea.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened 1/2 yellow onion, grated on the smallest side of the grater (you want juice and pulp, not minced bits) 1/2 cup ketchup to start (add more to taste) 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce pinch of salt Add all the ingredients to your mixer bowl and mix on slow until completely incorporated. Taste and adjust seasonings. I enjoy a bit more ketchup and onion. Taste improves if you let it rest a few hours after mixing in refrigerator. Serve with your favorite dipping chips. Submitted by: Sally Martiny |
