HOT FUDGE SAUCE FOR ICE CREAM 
1/2 c. sugar
3 squares semi-sweet chocolate or 1/2 c. semi-sweet pieces
1/4 c. butter
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk (2/3 c.)
1 tsp. vanilla

In a 1-quart bowl or 4 cup glass measure, combine sugar, chocolate, butter and milk. Micro-cook uncovered on high 2 to 3 minutes until bubbly. Stir every minute. Cook on high 3 more minutes until sugar is dissolved and mixture is thickened. Stir once. Stir in vanilla. Serve warm over ice cream. Makes 1 1/3 cups.
