HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
6 potatoes
6 slices bacon
3/4 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seeds
Dash of pepper
3/4 c. water
1/3 c. vinegar

Peel potatoes, slice thin. Fry bacon, saute onion in fat. Blend in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper. Cook over low heat stirring until smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat stir in water and vinegar.

Heat to boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Stir in potatoes and bacon bits. Remove from heat, cover and let stand until ready to serve. Serves 6.
