SWEDISH BROWN COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Cream butter and sugar and Karo syrup together. Add flour and soda; blend well. Make 4 rolls and place across baking sheet. Flatten slightly. Bake until light brown in 300-325 degree oven approximately 20-25 minutes. Cut into strips while hot.
