APPLE PIE FILLING 
28 c. sliced apples
4 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. cornstarch
2 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. salt
1/4 tbsp. nutmeg
10 c. water
3 tbsp. lemon juice

Boil until thick. Process in boiling water bath for 20 minutes after you have filled hot, sterilized jars with mixture.
