NUT CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
2 c. sugar

Cream.

1 c. milk
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
8 egg whites
1 pt. pecans (or 2 c.)
1 pt. English walnuts
1 pt. black walnuts
1 pt. butternuts
1 pt. almonds, blanch & peel

Flour nuts before adding. Bake 2 hours in moderate oven. Watch!
