HEATH BAR COOKIES 
1 stick real butter
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. white sugar
1 box graham crackers, quartered
1 c. chopped pecans or almonds

Oven temperature, 350°F. Place graham crackers on cookie sheet with sides (jelly roll pan). Graham crackers should be placed with edges touching on ungreased sheet. Melt butter, butter, and sugar; bring to a boil. When it comes to hard boil, time it 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour sugar mixture over crackers and sprinkle tops with 1/2 to 1 cup chopped pecans or almonds. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes (they will still be light brown). Do not overbake. Take out of pan right away and place on waxed paper.
