PEAR NUT BREAD 
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
1 c. chopped pecans

Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl; make a well in center of mixture. Set aside.

3/4 c. vegetable oil
3 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. peeled & grated pears

Combine oil, eggs, sugar, vanilla and pears. Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Spoon mixture into 2 well greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3 inch loaf pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until bread tests done. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans. Serve with cream cheese spread. Freezes good.
