BRIE EN COURTE 
1 pkg. pastry sheets
1 med. size brie
Sliced apples
If desired, 1/4 c. melted butter

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Bake until croute is brown and fluffy. Take cookie sheet, non-stick. Defrost pastry sheets according to instructions with a rolling pin, smooth out the wrinkles. When brie is at room temperature, place in center of 1 sheet of brie. Take 2nd sheet and cover. Seal with bottom sheet. Save the cut off pieces.

Take cut off pieces and smooth flat with rolling pin. With cookie cutter, cut out several designs and place on top of upper crust. Lightly coat with melted butter.
