BETTY LILLEY'S BAKED PINEAPPLE 
6-7 slices bread
1 (#2) can crushed pineapple, sweetened or unsweetened
1/2 c. soft butter
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs

Break up bread and soak in the pineapple; set aside. Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs to sugar mixture and beat until light. Stir in by hand the bread and pineapple mixture.

Place in a buttered dish (mixture will look curdled which disappears in baking). Hold for later baking or bake at once in preheated 325 degree oven for 50 minutes. Goes well with any meat course or any hot dish.
