SAND TARTS 
1/2 lb. real butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter. Sift sugar and add to butter. Sift flour and add to mixture. Add nuts and vanilla. Shape into balls or crescents and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325 degrees for 20 minutes or until lightly brown. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
