LITE WHOLE WHEAT ROLLS
2 pkgs. dry yeast
1 3/4 c. warm water (105-115 degrees)
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
2 1/4 - 2 3/4 c. all purpose flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large mixing bowl; add sugar and next 4 ingredients. Beat at medium speed of an electric mixer for 2 minutes. Gradually stir in enough all purpose flour to make soft dough. Turn dough out onto a well floured surface and knead about 10 turns. Place in a bowl coated with cooking spray, turning to grease top. Cover and let rise in warm place 1 hour or until doubled in bulk. Punch dough down, shape into desired shape of roll. Place in baking pans sprayed with no-stick cooking spray. Spray tops of rolls with butter flavored cooking spray. Let rise, uncovered in warm place, free from drafts, about 20 to 30 minutes or until doubled in bulk. Bake at 350 degrees about 15 minutes or until done. Yield: 3 dozen, 91 calories per roll.
