SQUASH RELISH 
16 squash (yellow or zucchini)
4 med. onions
6 green peppers
3 c. vinegar
3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
2 tsp. pickling spices

Chop or grind squash, onions and peppers together. It will equal 1 gallon of mixture. Add 2 trays of ice cubes and let set 3 hours. Drain.

Mix together vinegar, sugar, salt and spices; bring to a boil. Put in relish mixture and bring all to boil. Remove from heat. Fill jars and seal.
