CHILLED APPLE SALAD 
2 whole beaten eggs
1/2 c. pineapple juice
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. lemon juice
3 to 4 c. cubed apples
1 c. cubed pineapple
1 c. nuts
1/2 pt. whipping cream

Cook together eggs, pineapple juice, sugar and lemon juice in top of double boiler until thick. Cool completely. Beat the whipping cream until thick, then add to the cooked ingredients after they have cooled (you can do this with a mixer). In a large bowl combine apples, pineapple and nuts. Pour the cream mixture over this, mix well and chill.
