LASAGNA | |
1 box lasagna noodles 2 lg. cans tomato sauce 1 can water 2 lbs. ground beef 2 onions, chopped fine 3 tbsp. sweet basil 1 tbsp. parsley flakes 1 tsp. salt 1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese 1 pkg. Ricotta cheese (opt.) Cook noodles as directed on package. Brown meat, onion and seasonings. Add tomato sauce and water. Let simmer for about 20 minutes. In lasagna pan or large glass cake pan, put a ladle of sauce in bottom of pan and then layer lasagna noodles, meat sauce and cheese. You will finish with a layer of grated Mozzarella cheese. NOTE: If you use Ricotta cheese, then add 1 egg to cheese and use as a middle layer in your pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before you cut and serve. |
