RUM BALLS 
1 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 c. finely chopped pecans
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 tbsp. white corn syrup
1/4 c. rum or bourbon, or 1 tsp. rum flavoring plus 1/4 c. water

Combine crumbs, sugar, pecans and cocoa. Blend in corn syrup dissolved in the rum or bourbon. Form into balls, using 2 teaspoons for each ball. Roll in confectioners' sugar.

I used 1/2 cup bourbon instead of bourbon, extract and water. Packed a powerful punch but super delicious. I'm going to try next with almonds.
