PUMPKIN COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
2/3 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/4 c. canned pumpkin
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Stir together flour, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves until well blended. Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, beat well. Stir together thoroughly. Add oats and nuts, mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake 375 degrees about 12 minutes. Remove to rack to cool. Makes 4 dozen.
