WHOLE WHEAT WAFFLES 
3 3/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
5 eggs, well beaten
3 c. milk
1/2 c. oil or melted butter

Combine dry ingredients. Beat eggs; add milk and oil or butter. Gradually stir egg mixture into dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Cook on heated waffle iron until steaming stops. Top with syrup or whipped cream and fruit.
