BANANA BARS 
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 scant c. flour
3/4 c. nuts
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. buttermilk
3 ripe bananas, mashed

Mix all ingredients together and beat well. Put in greased large pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
6 tbsp. milk
6 tbsp. butter

Boil together for 30 seconds after coming to a full boil. Remove from heat, add 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Beat until starts to thicken, add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and spread over bars.
