TEXAS CORNBREAD 
1 1/2 c. plain cornbread
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
4 eggs, well beaten
1 c. sour cream
1 can cream style corn
1 c. mild cheese, grated
1 c. green pepper, chopped
1 c. onion, chopped
1 c. butter, melted (used AFTER bread is baked)

Mix all ingredients and pour into an ungreased 10 x 15 inch pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven and pour melted butter over the top and allow to soak in. Makes 20 servings.
