BARBECUED DEER STEAKS | |
2 lbs. deer steak Milk 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper Flour 3 tbsp. butter 1 lg. onion, minced 1 bottle barbecue sauce 1/2 c. white wine Cover steaks with milk; let stand 30 minutes. Remove from milk; add salt and pepper. Dredge in flour; brown in butter. Place layer of steaks in casserole; add layer of onion and barbecue sauce. Repeat layers until all steaks are used. Pour wine over steaks; cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
