AIR FRYER CHICKEN PARMESAN | |
4 chicken cutlets (1/2 to 1-inch thick) 1/3 cup flour 2 eggs, lightly beaten 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce, divided 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided salt and pepper (optional) PARMESAN CHEESE BREADING MIX: 1/3 cup Italian breadcrumbs 1/3 cup Panko breadcrumbs 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese Set up three shallow dishes. Place flour in one and beaten eggs in another. Combine Italian breadcrumbs, Panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese in third dish. Season chicken with salt and pepper, if desired. Coat chicken cutlets in flour, then dip in egg and coat in breadcrumb mixture. Place 2 coated cutlets in air fryer basket. Spray the cutlets lightly with cooking spray. Cook on 350°F for 6 minutes. Spread 2 tablespoons spaghetti sauce on each cutlet and top with 1/2 of mozzarella cheese. Cook on 400°F for 4 to 5 minutes longer. Repeat with remaining cutlets. Note: The thicker the chicken cutlet the longer it will take to cook. Serves 4. Submitted by: Smurfie117331 |
