CHICKEN DIVAN 
2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken
4 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 bunch fresh broccoli or 2 pkg. frozen
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2/3 c. half and half
1 c. Parmesan cheese
3-4 tbsp. sherry

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook chicken in water until tender. Cool and cut. Cook broccoli; drain. Cut lengthwise. Place in shallow baking dish. Blend together soup and half and half. Pour half of it over broccoli. Top with chicken slices. Add sherry and half of cheese mixture to remaining soup mixture. Pour it over chicken. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake until hot. Broil until brown. Serves 6.
