NANA'S KARO LACE COOKIES 
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Combine Karo, brown sugar and butter in a heavy pan. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, gradually blend flour, nuts and vanilla. Drop on foil covered cookie sheet by scant teaspoonfuls 3 inches apart. Bake in 350 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on wire rack, peel off. Enjoy!
