ROSY CINNAMON APPLES 
1/2 c. red cinnamon candies
1/4 c. water
6 med. size cooking apples, peeled & cut into wedges

Combine candies and water in a 2 cup glass measure. Microwave at high for 3-4 minutes, stirring at 1 minute intervals until candies dissolve. Place apples in a 1 1/2 quart casserole.

Pour melted candy mixture over apples; cover and microwave at high for 7-9 minutes or until apples are tender, stirring after 4 minutes. Yield: 6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
