STEAMED SHRIMP 
1 lb. shrimp, fresh or frozen
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 lemon, sliced
1/2 onion, sliced
1 stalk celery, cut up
No Water!
1 tsp. salt

Shrimp can be peeled before or after cooking. Cooking time 7 minutes. Utensil 2 quart glass dish. 4 servings.

Place shrimp and all the seasonings except salt in a glass dish. Cover with wax paper. Cook on high 7 minutes until all shrimp are pink. Stir after half of cooking time. Add salt. Let stand 3 minutes. Test for doneness, shrimp should be tender and pink. Takes from the tout de suite a la microwave cookbook.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
