PERSIMMON FRUIT CAKE | |
2 c. sugar 2 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. baking soda 1 c. raisins 1 c. nuts 1 c. glazed fruit 1 c. milk 2 eggs, beaten 2 c. persimmon pulp 3 tbsp. butter 2 tsp. vanilla Sift dry ingredients together then sift over mixture of nuts and fruits. Mix thoroughly, separating the fruits and nuts then add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a well greased tube pan and bake in a 300 degree oven for 1 hour or until cake tests done. |
