QUICK BUTTERMILK BISCUITS 
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening
1 c. buttermilk

Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Work in 1/4 cup shortening. Add buttermilk and stir until well mixed. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased baking sheet, leave a little space between biscuits. Bake in preheated oven 425 degrees until browned or about 10 to 12 minutes.
