PUMPKIN BREAD 
3 c. sugar
1 c. corn oil
4 eggs, beaten
2/3 c. water
2 c. pumpkin, (16 oz.)
3/4 c. nuts, chopped
3 1/3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 pkg. dates, chopped

Cream oil and sugar. Stir in eggs, pumpkin and water. Sift dry ingredients and blend into above mixture.

By hand, stir in dates and nuts. Grease and flour three loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
