AFRO AMERICAN MEATBALLS 
6 lbs. ground beef
8 slices bread
3 eggs
1/2 c. parsley
1/2 c. fine chopped onion
4 stalks celery
1 med. bell pepper
1/2 c. oatmeal
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 bottles barbecue sauce
1/2 c. brown sugar

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Roll the mixture into small balls. Bake at 325 degrees until meatballs are well done. In a slow cooker, mix the soups, barbecue sauce and brown sugar. Add meatballs and cook them for 3 hours or longer. I let them cook overnight on a low setting.
