1 lb. ground round 1 lg. can Campbell's pork & beans 1 green pepper, chopped 1 onion, chopped 1/2 c. ketchup 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce or to taste 1/2- 1 tsp. garlic powder or to taste Salt & pepper to taste Brown ground meat, add onions and green peppers, cook until onions are clear. Add pork and beans, ketchup, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Turn to simmer for about 30 to 45 minutes. NOTE: This recipe can be added to accommodate a large crowd. Can also be cooked over a camp fire. Serves 4 to 5. Serving Hints: Serve with boiled new potatoes, large green salad and crusty bread. |
