GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
6 potatoes
6 slices bacon, fried crisp
1/3 c. bacon fat
2 tbsp. flour
6 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
3/4 c. water
Onion (optional)
1/2 c. white vinegar

Fry bacon until crisp. Mix in flour, sugar, salt and celery seeds. Stir in water and vinegar. Pour over warm potatoes and bacon. Keep in electric frying pan at lowest temperature. Serves 6. (8 tablespoons = 1/2 cup)
