1 egg
1 c. milk
3 tbsp. butter, melted
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. jelly (any kind)

Beat egg. Add milk and butter. Stir together and add flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Mix well, but do not beat. Grease muffin tins. Fill each 1/3 full. Put into each hole the jelly. Cover with remaining batter. Bake 25 minutes at 400 degrees.
