EASY PIE CRUST | |
1/2 c. less 1 tbsp. shortening (Crisco) 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/4 c. sifted all purpose flour 1 tbsp. milk 3 tbsp. boiling water Put Crisco and salt in mixing bowl. Add boiling water and milk and whip with fork until all liquid is absorbed and a thick, smooth mixture is formed. Add flour and stir quickly into a dough. Shape into a smooth flat round. Roll out to pie crust size. This recipe will make enough for 1 crust. Double recipe for a two crust pie. |
