2 c. granulated sugar
1 c. Coke Classic
1/2 c. solid shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. sm. marshmallows
2 c. flour
1/3 c. butter
3 heaping tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
Coke Frosting (see recipe)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift sugar and flour into mixing bowl. Set aside. In a saucepan, blend Coke, butter, shortening, and cocoa. Bring to boil. Remove from heat and add to flour mixture. Add eggs and beat with mixer until blended. Add buttermilk, soda, vanilla, and marshmallows. Mix well. Bake in a greased 13 x 9 inch pan for 40 minutes. Spread frosting on warm cake.
