OATMEAL CANDY COOKIES 
1/4 lb. butter
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
2 c. sugar
pinch salt
3 c. quick oats
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla

In a large sauce pan, combine butter, cocoa, milk, sugar and salt. Boil for two minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Add oats and nuts. Drop by the teaspoonful onto wax paper. Let cool. Store in an airtight container.
