BLACKBERRY CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. coves
1 tsp. Allspice
1 c. blackberries, drained
1/2 c. sour milk

Cream sugar and butter. Beat in eggs. Add sifted dry ingredients, blackberries, and milk. Mix well. Turn into 8 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees until toothpick comes out clean.

SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 stick butter
1 c. blackberry juice or water

Combine sugar, flour and butter. Mix in juice. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Pour over hot cake.
