APPLE CRISP 
TOPPING:

3/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter (5 1/3 tbsp.)
2 2/3 tbsp. butter (1 stick butter)

Cinnamon

Cut 8 or 9 apples (MacIntosh) into sixths. Put into greased baking dish (2 quart). Sprinkle with cinnamon. Sprinkle crumbs on top of apples. Sprinkle some cinnamon on top. Melt rest of butter (2 2/3 tbsp.) and pour over crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees 45-50 minutes or until brown. Serves 8.
