MOLASSES SPRITZ COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 egg
1/2 c. molasses
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda in 2 tbsp. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour

Mix all ingredients together. Cool mixture in refrigerator for 15 minutes. Fill cookie maker with mixture and use the zigzag pattern. On greased cookie sheet, lay out cookies the length of sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cut lengths of cookie into 2 inch sections while hot. Cool. Put melted almond bark in between two cookies like sandwich.
