1 pkg. orange Jello, dissolved in one cup fairly strong tea 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges 1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple, reserve juice 1 (5 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained Dissolve Jello in tea. Add one cup of juice, drained from fruit (add orange juice if needed). Refrigerate until thickened. Drain and slice chestnuts, add with fruit and chill until firm. Top with 1 cup mayonnaise folded into 2 cups whipped cream. Add a pinch of mace and some grated orange rind. Serve on a bed of greens. |
