CHICKEN CURRY 
1 whole chicken, cut up
1 med. onion, sliced
1/4 c. cooking oil
3/4 tbsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tbsp. cumin powder
1/2 tbsp. fennel powder
1/2 tbsp. cardamom powder
1 1/2 tbsp. coriander powder
1/2 tbsp. garlic powder
1/2 tbsp. cloves powder
1/2 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tomato, sliced
1/2 c. milk
1 med. potato, peeled and quartered

Heat oil on medium and brown onions. Mix spices with vinegar and 1/2 cup water in bowl. After mixing well, add to pan of onions. Add chicken and mix to coat with spice mixture. Add enough water to almost cover chicken. Bring to boil; reduce heat to medium and add potatoes. Cook about 20 minutes or until done. Stir occasionally to be sure it doesn't stick. Add tomatoes and reduce heat to low. When no longer simmering, add milk and heat through without boiling. Serve over rice.
