DINNER ROLLS ITALIANO
3 1/2 to 4 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
2 pkgs. dry yeast
2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 c. water
1 egg
2 tbsp. butter, melted

In large bowl, combine 1 1/2 cup flour, yeast, sugar, garlic salt, and Italian seasoning; mix well. In saucepan, heat milk, water and 2 tablespoons butter until warm (120 to 130 degrees); butter does not need to melt. Add to flour mixture. Add egg, blend at low speed until moistened; beat 3 minutes at medium speed. By hand, gradually stir in 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and enough flour to make a firm dough. Knead on floured board until smooth and elastic. Place in greased bowl, turning to grease top. Cover, let rise in warm place until light and double (45 minutes). Punch down and divide into small pieces. Form into balls. Dip tops into melted butter and Parmesan cheese. Place in well greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Cover and let rise in warm place, about 30 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from pan. Cool.
