1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix 1 can evaporated milk 3/4 c. melted butter 1 lg. bag Kraft caramels 12 oz. bag chocolate chips 1 c. walnuts Mix dry cake mix, 1/2 cup evaporated milk and 3/4 cup melted butter together. Pour 1/2 this mixture into 9 x 13 inch pan to make a crust and bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. Then cool. Next melt caramels and 1/2 cup evaporated milk together. Pour over cooled crust. Then sprinkle with chocolate bits and walnuts. Take the other half of batter and drop by teaspoonsful over crust. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. |
