BREAD PUDDING 
6 slices white bread
2 eggs
3 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. raisins
Cinnamon and nutmeg to taste

Butter both sides of bread and remove crusts. Cube bread. Warm milk enough to dissolve sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Place buttered bread cubes in casserole dish and pour milk/egg mixture over the bread. Gently add raisins, leaving some on top. Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg on top.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place casserole dish with mixture in a shallow baking dish, almost filled with water to allow bread pudding to remain moist. Bake for 1 1/4 hours or until top shakes only a little.
