DELUXE BREAD PUDDING 
2 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar or 1/6 c. honey
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 slices bread
1/3 c. raisins
1 3/4 c. milk
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 c. sugar or 1/8 c. honey
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Cinnamon

Microwave butter on high 15 to 30 seconds. Stir in brown sugar or honey and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Spread 2 slices with mixture. Top each slice with second slice. Cut each sandwich into 9 (1") squares. Layer squares in 1 quart casserole. Sprinkle with raisins. Microwave milk, uncovered in glass measuring cup on high about 3 1/2 minutes. Beat in eggs, sugar or honey, salt and vanilla. Pour over bread. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Put casserole in 8"x8"x2" baking dish. Put 1 cup hot water in dish. Microwave 8 to 10 minutes, uncovered. Let stand 10 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
