PAT'S FRUIT CAKE 
1/3 c. Crisco oil
Yellow cake mix
2 eggs
1 can cherry pie filling
8 oz. sour cream
1 c. sugar
Pinch of soda

Pour oil in 9 x 13 inch pan. Coat bottom of pan with the oil. Pour in cake mix (dry). Beat eggs and add to cake. Mix with fork. Add pie filling and mix with fork until mixed evenly. Bake as directed on box. Poke holes in cake.

In small saucepan. Cook sour cream, sugar and baking soda. Stirring constantly over low heat. Mixture will be bubbly and not too thick. Pour over warm cake and cut into squares.
