SAUCEPAN COCOA BROWNIES 
1 c. shortening
3/4 c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 - 1 c. nuts

Stir shortening and cocoa together in a pan over low heat until lumps are out. Beat in sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, and mix well. Add flour, salt and nuts to above mixture. Mix well. Bake in a 9 x 13 inch greased and floured loaf pan at 325 degrees for 25 minutes.
